Mayibongwe is a conservationist and regenerative agriculture practitioner with hands-on experience working across wildlife conservancies and rural farming communities in Southern and East Africa. His work spans holistic planned grazing, ecosystem restoration, community conservation, and sustainable agriculture, with field experience in Zimbabwe and Kenya. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside conservation professionals, researchers, and local communities to develop practical solutions that restore landscapes while improving rural livelihoods. As Founder and CEO of EarthHugger, Mayibongwe leads the organisation's strategy, partnerships, and operations, ensuring the platform delivers practical, field-tested conservation knowledge that empowers farmers, conservationists, students, and communities across Africa. He believes Africa already possesses many of the solutions to its environmental challenges—the key is making that knowledge accessible to everyone.

Field & Content Coordinator
Console Sugi
Visits conservancies, documents solutions, and produces written and video case studies.
Born and raised in Rwanda, Sugi brings extensive experience working with local communities and understands the importance of preserving and sharing indigenous knowledge alongside modern conservation practices. As EarthHugger's Field & Content Coordinator, she works directly with farmers, community leaders, and conservation practitioners to document real stories, practical solutions, and local innovations. She ensures that the platform remains grounded in authentic community experiences while transforming field knowledge into engaging educational content that inspires action across Africa.

Chief Technology Officer
Timothy Mukunyadzi
Builds and maintains the platform.
Timothy leads EarthHugger's technology strategy and platform development. With extensive experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) gained through working in the United Kingdom, he brings expertise in software systems, digital infrastructure, and technology solutions. He is responsible for building and maintaining the digital platform that enables conservation knowledge to reach communities across Africa. Timothy believes technology should remove barriers to learning and create opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and environmental impact.
